Amazed.

I am by far the laziest blogger of them all. However, I have the best excuse for my brief hiatus.

Everything I've heard or read about Motherhood is proving to be completely true. I feel that this love is bigger than anything I can manage, and so it spills over in so many ways. I am changed for the better and forever.

The best moments thus far:

• Watching Matt look at her with such adoration it hurts. It makes me want to give him at least a small army of children.
• The feel of her sweet head in the nook where my neck meets my shoulder.
• The smell of baby wash and sour milk mix splendidly.
• Her laugh is intoxicating, and makes me babble baby talk like a crazy person

As the next chapter of life begins, I'm finding that life as a Stay at Home Mom will be epic to say the least. I am working on goals right now for myself. In hopes I will use this time to shape my child, nurture my home, and awaken different sides of my own creativity. I'm not sure where this blog will take me, it might be time for a makeover soon enough.

Motherhood has a very humanizing effect. Everything gets reduced to essentials.
