Last night I doubled a recipe for vegetarian lasagna. Well, I use the term recipe loosely. I just used what was on hand. I still have some fresh zucchini left over from a farmer's market run last week. Sweet Summer, I already miss your vegetable medley and it's not even August yet!
A friend in my mother's group just had her second daughter, and we have been using the site, Food Tidings, to bring her some meals. That is one thing I wanted and needed with a newborn at home!
I also enjoyed making one of my favorite and frugal treats, Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars. Seriously, these take NO time to make and are delicious. I had to exhibit some self control, or else I would not be sharing at all.
